An opportunity for schools to attend the UK Government’s flagship cyber security event, hosted by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
CYBERUK is the UK government’s flagship cyber security event, hosted by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). This year it will take place on 19-20 May 2020 at the brand-new International Convention Centre Wales in Newport.
CYBERUK 2020 will promote a national conversation around cyber security and will build a community that works together to help make the UK the safest place to live and work online. The event has a reputation for its energy, informality and ability to break down barriers.
The NCSC is welcoming schools to CYBERUK 2020, hoping to inspire children to consider computing as a subject at GCSE and to pursue a career in cyber security. Learners, aged 11-14 years old, will have the opportunity to hear from cyber security experts and mentors, learn tips on how to protect themselves online, discover cyber security courses and career opportunities, and engage in fun, interactive cyber games.
Complete this form by the 20 March to express your interest in attending.
A member of the event team will be in touch shortly to provide next steps following the review process. Please note that by expressing your interest at this stage, your place is not confirmed.
This free event will take place on both event days (19-20 May). Please indicate which day you would like to attend in your expression of interest.
Places will be decided on a first-come, first-served basis. Each school may bring one group of learners only, accompanied by the appropriate number of supervisory staff. The number of learners allowed to come per school will be determined by the popularity of the event.
