Learning in and for practice: how to support student learning in placement

This Symposium brings together leading academics to explore lessons about how students learn in and for practice. Topics include lessons to be learnt from the Frontline evaluation, current research on helping students develop skills, evidence on effective assessment of practice and how to prepare students for placement. Speakers include Professor Jonathan Scourfield, Dr Louise Grant, Alison Domakin and students themselves. The event will be an important one for anyone interested in social work education, including practice educators, academics, students and those responsible for developing practice in agencies.
