Frantic Assembly are once again hosting their taster and trial sessions for Ignition, their dynamic development programme.

Ignition is a nationwide talent development programme for all young people aged 16-24. It aims to discover new artistic potential from all walks of life and give opportunities for diverse voices to become part of a professional, creative, and collaborative theatre making practice.

This is a great opportunity for young people who previously may not have considered the arts a place for them, to explore their creative abilities through high energy workshops. Not only this, but the trial workshops are also an opportunity for the young people to secure a place on Ignition Intensive where they will join Frantic Assembly in London in the last week of October to devise TWO original performances that will be performed at Brixton House.

Taster and trial sessions are FREE and all expenses for Ignition Intensive will be covered by Frantic Assembly. 

This year Frantic Assembly are particularly keen to hear from young people who:

  • Have not had any conservatoire or drama school training.
  • Have had little engagement and/or face socio- economic barriers in the arts.

Frantic Assembly are hosting their regional Ignition workshops at Sherman Theatre in September 2023. The taster sessions will be held on the 9th of September with the trial sessions then following on the 29th of September.
