The Children Act 1989 has been heralded the world over, described as “the most comprehensive and far-reaching reform of child law which has come before parliament in living memory” by the then Lord-Chancellor, James Mackay

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Act, BASW England invites you to join this webinar.  This will be an unique opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the Act, the hope it has brought to generations of children, as well as the framework upon which good social work practice has been built over three decades.  This will be interactive event, with  attendees invited to share questions and comments throughout.
