We’ve worked hard once again this year to protect and promote children’s rights in Wales. Our recommendations to Welsh Government include:
- Giving all young people with additional learning needs safe and suitable transport to their place of education
- Making sure schools record all reported bullying, and use the information to plan, monitor and evaluate their approaches to tackling bullying
- Publishing a Child Poverty Delivery Plan, showing what they will do to improve the lives of the most vulnerable children in Wales, and how they will do it to urgently show how they will keep working to improve mental health care for young people after the Together for Children and Young People programme comes to an end.
