Care Experienced: Safe, Seen, Supported: The Reform of the Care System:
Wales has embarked on a comprehensive reform of the care system. The Radical Reform is grounded in the rights and dignities of care experienced children and young people.
The goal is to reduce the number of children and young people going in to care and to improve the quality of the care for those that do. To create a system that supports the long-term well-being of children looked after in Wales.
This course will share the lived experience of children and young people and how their voices influenced the May 2023 report on child centred reform If not now, then when? including the creation of the Corporate Parenting Charter.
