This course is organised by CoramBAAF.
The purpose of this open course is to give participants an opportunity to consider what good practice in assessing adult relationships is, exploring their own values and assumptions and to consider the importance of attachment styles, motivation, sex and sexuality, and loss and infertility.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the day, participants will learn how to:
- Develop a deeper understanding of the dynamics of adult relationships
- Consider issues that may arise within intimate relationships
- Develop critical thinking and reflective practice in the completion of assessments
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is suitable for social worker teams and others assessing potential adoptive parents and foster carers.
