Social Care Wales and BASW Cymru
Every day, social work practitioners support thousands of people across Wales. To celebrate this outstanding work, Social Care Wales together with BASW Cymru will be running two free conferences this autumn, in north and south Wales.
The conferences are free to attend, and they’re open to anyone working in social work, especially practitioners and students.
They’re a chance to celebrate the inspirational work, values, identity and purpose that draw us together.
The conferences are an opportunity for you to:
- hear from other social work practitioners and share different ways of working
- find out more about new ways of working, such as compassionate leadership and strength-based practice
- learn how to use evidence to support well-being at work.
So, join them on 26 October at the All Nations Centre, Cardiff or 9 November at Venue Cymru, Llandudno.
Attending the conference will count towards your continuing professional development (CPD) hours.
