Leicestershire Cares have been planning the best way to respond to COVID-19. We are living and working in unprecedented times and we wanted to reach out to our business members at this time to ensure no one is left to struggle on their own. In response we have identified 10 groups who we already have links and relationships with across Leicester City, County, and Rutland.

Many of these groups are a real lifeline and are also adapting the way they usually work; including offering delivery of food packs, services to those socially isolating, friendly phone call checks ins to most vulnerable, picking up prescriptions and rallying round to coordinate local community support. These established groups are making a difference in times of need all year round and they need your help!

Please sign up to support the CoronaKindness campaign and we will then link you up with a group based near your business. We have groups in the City, Melton, Market Harborough, Loughborough, Coalville, Narborough and Hinckley who are on the ground now.

This campaign can be done remotely via online shopping food orders directly to the food bank, virtual postcards, financial donations and more. Items requested include tinned goods, hygiene products, pasta, rice, cereals, hand wash, books, crossword puzzles, garden plants, anti bacterial spray and other non-perishables.

Let us come together to support the vulnerable, elderly and families to get the support they need at this critical time.
