Join The Fostering Network to celebrate Foster Care Fortnight in Cardiff! On Tuesday 23 May 2023, they will be bringing the fostering community together to raise awareness and celebrate the difference that fostering makes for children and young people in Wales. They will be meeting at Sophia Gardens at 10.00am and walking a short and accessible route (less than two miles) around Bute Park, past Cardiff Castle, and ending at the John Lewis store in The Hayes. They will end the morning with some refreshments kindly provided by our friends at John Lewis.

If you would like to support The Fostering Network whilst walking, you can sign up for Foster Walk or set up a JustGiving page for donations. You can also purchase a limited-edition Foster Walk t-shirt in advance of the event, to spread the word about fostering as you walk. If you don’t have a t-shirt, you might want to wear something orange to let people know you are supporting Foster Care Fortnight.
