An in-person free training course with various dates throughout March 2023 and various locations in South Wales
This course will help participants develop an understanding of the new Additional Learning Needs (ALN) system for supporting children and young people aged 0–25 with ALN in Wales. The course will also explore the implementation of the new system.
The course is suitable for anyone working with or supporting children and young people with ALN, including their families.
Participants will be encouraged to take part in group discussions and share experiences relevant to the course content.
By the end of the course, participants will have gained an understanding of:
- ALN within the new framework and legislation
- The implementation of the new Act
Funded by Welsh Government and delivered by Snap Cymru on behalf of the Third Sector Additional Needs Alliance (TSANA), this course is free to attend. TSANA is a coalition of third sector organisations working with, supporting and representing children and young people with additional learning needs. The Alliance is facilitated by Children in Wales.
